Description:

This was found on the underside of a creeping thistle leaf it was approx 8mm in length.

Tortoise beetle larvae

Thank you for the ID it has literally bugged me for several years now the books don't always give the larval stages :)

It's certainly a Cassida

It's certainly a Cassida larvae, but I'm not sure they can be done from photos - would be interested to hear if they can though!
