episinus
Description:

This little spider lives in the basement lavatory of a house adjacent to oak woodland on Exmoor. My provisional identification is that it is Episinus truncatus, based on the brief text in Jones: "Legs I, II and IV dark from apical end of femora to basal part of metatarsi which is also darkened apically." Which seems to fit this specimen, but the habitat is completely wrong!
Photo adjusted for brightness/contrast.
