There seems to be a lot of these around at the moment. I've never seen one myself, but will keep looking.

They seem to be widespread but not common

The place near Cambridge where they were large and abundant last year is Fordham Woods

New to me

I found my first ever batch of about 15 on a log pile on the 24 Feb about half a mile from this one, I went back for a small sample the next day to have it checked for species. I realise now that I have probably seen it before but thought it was a piece of plastic, which nearly happened with this one, did not take a sample as it was the only one and hopefully it will multiply :)
