You do get really puzzling Bombus like this occasionally. I agree with Syrphus' two suggestions.
Might even be a Bombus hypnorum queen. Some individuals can be very black in the central area of the thorax, giving the impression of banding. Hairs that can be seen there are certainly very orangey when compared to the attached pollen.
