Larva found in moss on open area of sandy heath/grass. About 30mm long.
No interactions present.
I wonder could this be Carabus violaceus Ophrys?

I photographed a 22mm slimline version of the above larva this morning- found it last night.
Its got me thinking, I doubt if my Carabus ID is correct now, the fatness and length made me think Carabus, plus the upper scaled surface and soft fleshy sides and under carriage with small hard nodules on the sides...
I'm not so sure now? I will post a pic of the one I found.
