One of the more bizarre scientific names, with Corystes being Greek for an helmeted warrior and Cassivelaunus being the British chief defeated by Caesar in 54BC.
It must have reminded Thomas Pennant of a little feisty Celtic chieftain...or maybe he had been at the whisky?
