2-star plant

Nice pictures of an uncommon plant. Gets 2 stars in McClintock & Fitter, meaning "scarce plant". 3 stars are reserved for rarities. I've seen it quite a lot on the continent but only once in the UK: in Witcombe Wood in the Cotswolds (near Gloucester) where there are a few patches.

Thanks Capybara - I am lucky

Thanks Capybara - I am lucky to have Balls Wood Nature reserve not too far away where I learned it grows in the old Hornbeam woodland. However, very lucky to find them as this appeared to be the only patch in the whole reserve.
