Found growing on cliffs at Walton-on-the-Naze. Identification would be appreciated. It could be Butterbur or Winter Hellotrope.

Thanks for the id. I had thought it might be the Winter Heletrope but wasn't sure. The late flowering may be down to the position it is growing in, on a low cliff exposed to the cold easterly winds we have experienced of late. Infact the plants have quite a hard time there generally with salt spray and blown sand.
