Description:

These unusual rod like crystals were only on the Arums and all the Arums had this crystal type. I am wondering what it is about the leaves that causes this.

Icy Lords and Ladies

I don't know about the particular properties of Lords and Ladies foliage, but I saw ice crystals like these on a snow-covered hedgebank a few weeks ago! It almost looked like the snow had been covered in white astro-turf - very odd...
