Description:

Growing in old cow dung in Scot's pine wood, the cap was greasy. I had thought it may be Psilocybe coprophila but the stem seemed to long plus it was in January that I found it and the books suggest it is found in summer early autumn, then I thought maybe a Cortinarius

Maybe

could be but the cap was more greasy than slimy and cap more brown than yellow but I still would not rule your suggestion out.
