This tree seemed somehow out of place at the corner of the embankment around the Napton Reservoir on a cold day with snow still lying. I wondered if the cold might affect the leaves and perhaps cause them to hang downwards.

I do think it is so will agree,if you live near go back and remove a leaf and crush it as they do smell of eucalyptus well the sap does.I had one in my garden and I am on a very exposed windy site in Northumberland near Hexham and the leaves drooped but I think that is just how they grow.
