Stereum hirsutum usually looks yellow

This looks like something else (e.g. Chondrostereum purpureum) but without a close up view of upper and lower surfaces it is hard to tell.

I would go with this. The

I would go with this. The early resupinate stage of C purprueum is purple and that of S hirsuitum is yellow/orange.
