Harbour Seal is the North

Harbour Seal is the North American name for this species

Common seals

Note the puppy-dog face and relatively small head.

Harbour seal is the name used in North America but it is also commonly used in Britain. Personally I think harbour seal is a better name as they are more often seen around human activity than grey seals also grey seals are far more common around the british coast, except for the South East coast of England.

I prefer

I prefer harbour seal too. Less vague. Lots of seals are common!
