Nice teeth, are they for chewing up crabs and the like ?

yeah its an impressive set of dentures they have, I think these fish can deal with food items that most other fish wouldnt tackle, shellfish in particular. I know pollack and cod and the like will eat whole crabs as long as they are small enough to swallow, then just digest it in its entirety, but I think these wrasse can deal with more challenging shellfish, this fish here actually had broken up razor clam coming out its rear end! It just crunched them up into pieces and down they went.
Ive heard they can take limpets off the rocks but that would be an impressive feat. Think they can munch on mussels too.
