Hedge Accentor?

I'm so old that when I was a lad they were just Hedge Sparrers. I've got used to Dunnock, but only just. I'll NEVER get used to "Hedge Accentor." Where did that come from (apart from the family name)? Who thought of it, and when?
Are we going to start calling Wood Pigeons "Wood Columbidae?" Hmm...

I couldn't agree more, "times they are a changing" as the song goes.

Hi Chris,

Just looked at your website - it's fine on Firefox, but Internet Explorer 8 truncates the text on the right. Donn't know why, but I thought you'd like to know.

Super website!

Hi Simon, you have to have your browser set to 100%, I expect that is the issue. Thanks for your comments regards Chris.
