If anyone visits Mudeford Quay its worth a walk to the end where these Starlings frequent the piles of crab and lobster pots, they are very numerous and fearless. They are easily taken for granted but are stunningly colourful.

Beautiful pics Chris! What sort of lens did you use - Zoom or fixed Telephoto?
I always use a 500mm lens, usually hand held so I have to use a faster shutter speed.
Thanks Chris, that's great. My new camera has a 24x Optical Macro zoom - up to equivalent of 574mm so maybe I'll be lucky enough to capture something like these!
