Slime Mould (Fuligo septica )

I've added this to the fungi group though even though it's not of course as apparently slime moulds go in that group too! :)


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Not 100% convinced that is a Fugilo septica, it looks a bit powdery.

I'm not sure what it is! I don't know much about slime moulds! I just read that this was a fairly common one and it looked similar to a lot of pictures! I don't even know it is a slime mould, I'm just not sure what else it could be! And I've even made a typo in the name! Oh dear!

Update it

Suggest you update this to the correct spelling of the ID, although since this is (correctly) classified as other organisms the likely ID feature will still not work.

this needs to be classified as Fungi (even though it is not). Its a system feature...
