Was this one dead? This hunched pose is one I've often seen when the earwig is parasitised by a horsehair worm

I am slightly puzzled. Your comment/question implies that you believe it to be an Earwig, and yet you have not agreed with my ID (Nor, indeed, has anyone else!) Is it just an oversight, or do you have doubts?
I'm not sure whether it was dead or not but it certainly wasn't moving!
