Name change

This has become Asplenium scolopendrium in the 3rd edition of Stace's flora.

I entered Asplenium scolopendrium

but the system changed it.
It is good to have standardization when searching entries so I usually accept the system provided name.

Understood

Comment was just for info.

iSpot has a habit of doing that. Hopefully the system-accepted names will get updated sometime, and observations renamed to group them all together.

I usually force iSpot to accept the new name if I post, but always agree with old names. Some users post a revision with the new name. It's all a bit messy, so I agree with the need for standardization.

I admire your series of fern pics, by the way!

Thank you, I think it is worth trying to illustrate

the identifying features, if possible. When starting, as we see on iSpot, it is possible to believe one shot from the top will do; rarely the case. Martin
