Description:

A mushroom-coloured fungus growing out of a dead/dying tree at the edge of an area where the bark had fallen away. The cap is smooth-edged and has a definite sheen. The stipe is off-white and relatively thin reaching out from the bark to the centre of the fungus. The gills are paler in colour, well separated and well defined.
