Growing in soil on the side of a cliff, with trailing arms of sort of triangular banana shaped leaves tipped with a hint of red.

Carpobrotus taxon.

It is probably impossible to ascertain the exact taxonomy of this plant from this photo. There are more Carpobrotus species in the UK than C. edulis (probably the UK's most misidentified plant) and it is almost certain that all its congeners will hybridise with each other. Indeed, even with Disphyma crassifolium another species recorded growing alongside a Carpobrotus TAXON in England. Note I specifically will not rate it as a species because it is probably a hybrid.
