If you are adding multiple pictures of the same species, it might be better to add them all under the one observation. I think that is five pics of Mute Swan, this morning. It seems a bit much to keep earning credit for the same species!

I thought the idea was to add observations. If it was multiple pictures of the same bird then you would have a point. But there are many swans in different locations. It would be misleading if I was to only put one observation as that would indicate there was only one swan in that area.
Fair enough, that makes sense. iSpot is used differently by different people, and that is fine.
Yeah, ispot's great. I'm don't know a massive amount about this sort of thing as I'm focusing on geology in my degree. But the whole evolution and fossil record thing ties in with all this. I don't really use it as much as I should.
as you say if you use Ispot more you will get so much more by adding other different species .Look at plants at least they keep reasonably still for photos unless it is windy.Look forward to more,this swan shot is good.
