Grey foliose lichen on upper side of branch of apple tree.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

I think you're right!

The pale marks are the soredia, rather than little lumpy isidia if it were P.saxatilis. Also it has broader lobes than P.saxatilis.
(I rather wanted it to be Crottle, it sounds so good!)
