BBCB is B. humilis, not B. pascuorum (as 'Get recommended' will return). I think at that location pascuorum is the only likely candidate. Which one did you mean?
recording wildlife with The Recorder's Year on www.hbrg.org.uk/TRY.html.
Bombus pascuorum, appears also to be the brown-banded carder bee and is stated as that on Bummble Bee Org ??? It seems also that B humilus is also referred to as Brown-banded carder bee ,rather confusingly . In any case its clearly Bombus pascuorum. I think we can only expect a blanket use for Carder in any case cf A Cuckoo Bee can be one of a number of species

Don't believe all you read on the web! In so far as English names have any status at all, Bp is the Common Carder, Bh Brown-banded. I think the reference on that site will be an overlooked error.
