Fungus growing on bark and stump of ash tree.

Rubbery bracket fungus with orange/brown velvety upper surface and lighter underneath. Growing layers both on the top of the stump of the tree and also on the bark.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
