Description:

Sepia coloured concave cap (about 5cm in diameter), well defined brilliant white flukes on the underside and a relatively thick white stalk. Probably Russula of some kind - thanks to Fenwickfield for the ID.

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

No need

there is no need to put a new id on as it automatically goes into the correct section.I put Russula genus only as it is not possible to pin down which as it could be one of several that are very similar and as I said you need to test them with chemicals and look at the spore shape under a microscope.
