Description:

This image shows the immature fruits of the Strawberry Tree Arbutus unedo growing in the grounds of Quarr Abbey, Isle of Wight. A native of Southern Ireland , it is quite widely planted as an ornamental, and is listed as an established alien species in the Isle of Wight flora.Established older specimens also have beautiful barks.
