Winter Goldie

Goldfinches visiting our garden feeders is another sign that winter temperatures are here, not because they are winter migrants but because we don't get visited by them in the summer.
This is the first time I've got a shot away from the feeders. It wasn't pinching the Blackbirds' and Redwings' berries, just using the bush to fly sorties to our seed feeders.

Quite right

And there'll be less in this bush once the Blackies and Redwings have stripped it. If I'm really lucky, Waxwings will help, too. :))
