flower of water plant

Description:

Loads of this plant causing the ditch to silt up (could be a good thing, or just deprive land lower down of water). Fool's watercress, or marshwort? Many seeds floating in water -look like parsnip seeds,(however not necessarily anything to do with this plant)

Pinnate

Sorry, not sure which watercress this is, but my wildflower book describes 'pinnate' as 'A compound leaf with the separate leaflets arranged along the leaf-stalk, usually in opposite pairs, and often with a terminal leaflet as well' (The Wild Flower Key by Francis Rose). Hope this helps!
