The little yellow things are thought to be flower buds with pleasant fragrance. Have not seen the flowers open up like others. Leaves are alternate and elongated and small.

I used to have a frost hardy one that i rescued after it had been ripped up by vandals and it had flowers that looked like Ivy in clusters of a dozen or so. Not one of the ones with edible fruit.
