Unless it was on the edge of a road and likely to be road kill or under power lines, it is probably best to mention it to RSPB

Reason

The reason for this is that it may be due to something more suspicious.I have reported bird's of prey deaths before when I have thought or on some occasions known that it was not an accident or a natural death.
