Confidence: It might be this.
Notes: This is as large a caddis as I ever see, its almost 1.2" long. It might be P. grandis but that isnt certain at all. Appears to be a moth at first when seen in flight. Only a few this size encountered each year, it could be an infrequently met latge species or a larger than usual specimen of a common species. Is it possible to make an ID from this image? Again from a spring fed hill lough with, limestone bedrock supports a ph which is uncommon in hill loughs surrounded by peat.
