I learnt something new today re Phoenix and Small phoenix moth, thanks to Ophrys.
I was so sure I'd recorded in Co Mayo, the species which had eluded me at home in Antrim.
Thanks again for the above ID, I was lucky and pleased to get the above 2 images, when I went for another angle, it flew away.

Absolutely Chris, iSpot has been such a discovery. Great for clarifying things and for putting your mind at rest when it isnt possible to bring an image to species!
It has openned my mind a good bit(and it needed some opening). Very educational.
