Brown mushroom growing in damp grass near conifers. Caps 5 cm across, dimple at centre, rich tan/brown colour with some black specks, edge a bit wavy and striate in places. Adnate flesh-coloured gills with brown edges. Stem 3 cm long, 8 mm diameter, brown and fibrous, no ring, pale and powdery where it meets gills. White spore print. Spherical, spiky, inamyloid spores, 6.5-8 microns diameter.
