Group of bright orange-brown mushrooms growing out of rotten fallen tree branches (deciduous I think). Caps up to 4 cm in diameter, greasy, orange with some yellow patches, some convex with rounded margin, larger specimens more or less flat. Adnate chopped up broad yellow-brown gills. Stems about 4 cm long and 1 cm diameter at top which tended to be slightly wider than further down. No obvious ring but a pale zone at top of light brown fibrous stem. Some stems bent to fit in cracks. Spore print dark brown. Spores oval smooth, 7-8 x 4-4.5 microns.
