I read that the differences between 'flexuosa' and 'hirsuta' is difficult to spot looking at the leaves alone. My research says that 'hirsuta' has 4 or 5 stamens in the flower whilst 'flexuosa' has 5 or 6 stamens. I didn't know this when I took the photo and the photo isn't good enough to tell. The leaves can look extremely similar.
The very lobed leaves are much more typical of C. flexuosa, though counting stamens in a more reliable method.
Thanks Cabbageleek.I will try to photo more details next time.
