You will need more than a picture to get past rufa/polyctena - you need a laboratory for that! I don't think it is lugubris, but it is unlikely that a picture would allow a certain ID. Not an easy group!
Just enjoy them and marvel - you don't need to know the exact species to do that. What you could look for in the summer is the little Shining Guest Ant Formicoxenus nitidulus which only lives in woodant mounds. It has been recorded in that area.
