Stump of an English Oak located in Cocken Woods. 4.7m in girth. Fungi present on the stump and the trunk of the tree and it is covered in moss.

Bark

The bark of this stump looks rather smooth; If you can get another close-up photo it may be possible to teel if it was an oak or a beech
