Description:

Found in grassy upland area with scattered trees. It looked like the bird had been eaten and all that was left were its wings. The feathers are about 15cm long.

Hi Becca

I don't think they are Mallard, check out Mallard feathers on Google images, my money is still on the pheasant.

I agree with pheasant also

I agree with pheasant also Chris, a hen pheasant. Mostly secondary wing feathers but towards the left there might be 1 primary feather. Being wet their shape is badly affected and they are narrowed.
