Description:

28 Dec 2011 - Lots on a retaining board at the waters edge. They are approx 2.5cm across. Look like mini turkey tails.
6 Jan 2012 - The water level has dropped and I had my wellies on so more photos.

Identifications

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Unfortunately it was a wet

Unfortunately it was a wet day and the board is in the water, if it is still there next time I pass and I have got my wellies on I will try and look.

This was my first thought.

This was my first thought. All my finds or at least all the finds I have id'd as Bjerkandera have been much more distinctly grey than this.
