The picture does not even allow 'Bird' to be a confident suggestion!
However, assuming it was a lark which you saw in the location given, it is very likely to be a Crested Lark, and very unlikely to be a Thekla. Crested Larks are two-a-penny in built-up areas like that, whereas Thekla are very much a scarcer bird of remote hillsides.
Almost certainly a Crested Lark, then, if a lark it were.
