Description:

Sessile Oak of approx 5.6m in girth and approx 20m in height in woodland (Cocken Woods) next to the banks of the river wear accessible by the public. Multi Stemmed (3) Pollard. Moss growing at the base of the tree and lichen on the higher branches, Ivy growing up the trunk. Some of the branches have been cut back to keep the path clear.Bankside appears to be eroding.
