On Urtica dioica
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
Definitely this species, but the taxonomy is complex (varieties on different Carex spp. as telial hosts) and the current NHM/NBN dictionary is full of errors in the group. I have recently established on good authority that P. urticata is the correct name to apply to the aecia on Nettle (as here). Any rumour that the name is P. caricina is incorrect.

I gathered that P. caricina was an outdated name, despite iSpot's insistence on 'Puccinia caricina var. caricina' for Nettle Clustercup Rust. A bit of caution is needed with the 'Get recommended' button!
It now accepts a Forced ID and uses the UKSI Dictionary.
