Song

Mistles are larger, more upright birds, with less colour to them. They have a paler face, with a larger bill; greyer wing feathers with pale edges; and they lack the buff background to the spots on the flanks. The spots on this bird, when magnified, can be clearly seen to be arrowhead-shaped, not round as in Mistle.
