Fungi and Lichens expert

Photographed a number of lichens on the gravestones in Walton Church at the OU. There was a lichen survey done here a number of years ago, I wrote a nature trail in the mid 1990's that mentioned it: http://www.open.ac.uk/Nature_Trail/Lichen.htm Richard Tofts wrote these particular notes.
Back then the lichens seemed brighter with more bright yellows and oranges, possibly the trees have grown up more now and the lichens have toned down the colours somewhat and/or the species have changed. will try to repeat that picture shown on the web page above taken about 15 years ago(and also find the slide to check the exact date)


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
