Description:

Largish damp brown mushroom with half of cap missing found in border planted with shrubs in park. Slimy flat brown cap with inrolled margin, about 9 cm across. Wavy light-brown decurrent gills. Beige fibrous stem 4 cm long, 1 cm diameter, tapering and getting browner towards base. Beige flesh in stem and cap.
