It is worth knowing that Meadow Brown, at least in Scotland, can have a small second white 'pupil' in the black wingspot. These have led to some puzzlement, but have always turned out to be MB - they differ from Gatekeeper in other features.

I have seen the same thing here in Hayes (near Bromley), but the second spot is noticeable smaller than the first. I'll add an observation.
