Help with I.D. can't find anything on this at all.

Just found out that some earthworms lubricate themselves with iridescent slime. The one that I found was crawling along a stone path on a summers day. That explains that then.

Too young to tell species...

It is very difficult to tell the species of immature earthworms (which don't have a saddle or reproductive parts). But see our guide here for adult worms.
