Image size

This is a very low resolution image, hard to be certain of an ID from this. Is it possible to add a higher resolution shot?

Sorry, this is it. Didn't

Sorry, this is it. Didn't even spot them, they were pointed out by someone else. Please read the comments made by ophrys on my Canada Geese submission.

A link to that entry would make it easier to refer to it.

White-fronts

It is low resolution, David, so I understand your hesitancy. But, with the combination of white by the bill, slight barring underneath, dark feathering at rear of grey on flanks, there is no reason to suspect anything else, is there?

Probably not

But geese can be difficult and have lots of complicated hybrids so I'd not be comfortable agreeing myself, especially for anything hanging around with a 'feral' species like Canada Goose.

Fair enough!

Yep, I know what you mean.

Finally

As a final note, it's worth pointing out that there have been a lot of White-fronts in the general area in the last couple of weeks...at Tophill Low, Wheldrake and other locations, so you'd almost expect to find some in with your Canadas!
