Having looked at other observations maybe these are a type of money spider? Any ideas? More prolific during misty mornings. Dont come out in sunshine. Visible from late summer/early autumn when weather turns.
No interactions present.
I suppose money spiders are the most likely explanation for this. I've never seen them produce webs quite as large and 'solid' as this, but can't think what else would fit the description. Are the small reddish objects in the photos the spiders? Amazing thing to see.
